The Northern fleet held anti-terrorist exercises on the coast of Novaya Zemlya. Arctic brigade marine units supported by warships and aircraft landed from large amphibious ships Georgy Pobedonosets and Kondopoga in the Gulf of Rogachev on the Western shore of southern island of the Novaya Zemlya archipelago.
