केंद्र सरकार संसद में महिला आरक्षण और परिसीमन से जुड़ा संवैधानिक संशोधन विधेयक पेश करने जा रही है. इसके लिए 16 अप्रैल से संसद का विशेष सत्र बुलाया गया है. इससे एक दिन पहले 15 अप्रैल को राहुल गांधी ने इन प्रस्तावों पर हमला बोलते हुए इसे ‘सत्ता कब्जाने की कोशिश’ बताया. उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि सरकार डिलिमिटेशन (परिसीमन) और जेरीमेंडरिंग (चुनावी क्षेत्रों में फेरबदल) के जरिए सत्ता हथियाने की कोशिश कर रही है.
